Framed Photos for Mother’s Day

My boys are 15 months old already but only recently I finally decided to get some photo prints of my boys and put them up on our living room wall.

I had a few pictures printed before and had them on my fridge etc… but I wanted something special, something big, and something that fits in our living room.

I did some procrastinating and finally decided to order our favorite pictures. As a mother of babies or young children, I’m sure lots of people can agree with me on getting shopping trips faster and easier, and going to a photo store and getting pictures printed, going to buy perfect frames, getting the pictures in the frames and putting them on the wall, is not exactly a ‘fast’ job with babies around.

So, I opted for an easier route; online shopping. Online shopping for not just prints but prints with frames already on them! (can’t get easier than this!)

I ordered them from Shutterfly website and it was really easy to pick files and frame options and just order.

They came in perfect condition. The frames are pretty big (the ones I ordered are: 11×14) but they came in well protected package and all I had to do when I opened the packages was to hang them up. The pictures were already set in the frames and there is a string behind it to hang easily on the wall.

I am impressed with the quality of the photos.

Newborn photography taken by Sara Cannon Photography – http://saracannonphoto.com I crocheted the hats and my mom crocheted the blanket to make “Two Peas In A Pod” photo!

I am so happy that I can now admire my babies’ newborn photos everyday and we finally have some family pictures in our living room!

These pictures are from our picnic (blog post on it here)

There is something special about having beautiful moments in our life captured and have them where we can see and enjoy in our everyday space. My husband and I always look at these pictures and we are like “awww they were so cute” or “they are so cute in these pictures! We have to go back to that park again” etc.

I bought these framed pictures and put them up on the wall since I always wanted to put something special about this family in our living space, and I didn’t do it as a Mother’s Day gift for myself but I really think this would be a lovely gift for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day so I wanted to share today. Now that I am a mom, anything with my babies on it or something they created is a treasure, and I am sure that is same for any parent.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend coming up. I can’t wait to spend a special day with my babies for my second Mother’s Day!

Our walls are dark so I try to have only white frames on our living room walls to brighten them up 🙂
